What's New in 2022?
The 2022 Subaru Outback lineup gains a rugged Wilderness model with all-terrain tires, better ground clearance, and an upgraded suspension. In addition, the new off-road-oriented Wilderness trim gets a powerful turbocharged engine and can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Base models remain unchanged except for the new LED fog lights.
Design and Technology
The 2022 Outback retains its bold exterior design featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, and 8.7-inches of ground clearance. The Wilderness trim has several exterior enhancements, including body cladding on bumpers, heavy-duty roof rails, and 9.5-inches of ground clearance. Except for the base model, with dual 7.0-inch touchscreens, the rest of the Outback lineup has an 11.6-inch vertical screen. The Outback supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, Bluetooth Integration, and HD Radio for better connectivity as you drive around Grants Pass.
