Southern Oregon may not have invented the term Day Trip, but more and more of us are discovering the wonders that live in our own backyard, and the simple joy a day-long drive to the unknown can bring. A single tank of gas, (or even a single charge!) can deliver you and your very best bestie to wonders most people never get to see in a lifetime.

That's why, over the next year, SO Subaru will be exploring everything Southern Oregon has to offer, from waterfalls, bridges, mountains and beaches, to rescue dog rehoming and Habitat builds - and we'll be cruising to all of it in a variety of the newest Subys on the lot - and why not? Our hosts need to travel around in something, so why not drive in style?

And speaking of hosts, ours are exceptional. Stephanie Jones and Rigo Jimenez aren't just skilled film and stage actors, they actually are best friends in real life, something that comes across in every journey they take.

Part 4: IT'S SPRING AGAIN!

When our thoughts turn to the birds and the bees - the flying kind!

With the return of Rigo from wherever it was Rigo went, he and Stephanie decided to celebrate the return of spring, with a journey to understand and appreciate all the wonderful native flowers and flying insects that blanket our valley as the weather turns warm.

They chose a beautiful 2025 Subaru Outback as their ride, and headed out across two counties, discovering the benefits of native flora and fauna, the magic of our little friends the honeybee, and where we can find all of these pollinating plants to turn our own homes & gardens into pollinating wonderlands.

Enjoy the journey, then go out there and gather your own selection of pollinators - in a new Subaru!

Part 3: Snow Day

Our Southern Oregon Subaru JOURNEYS CAMPAIGN has been looking forward to our winter edition all year. But schedules - and Mother Nature - conspired against us, and it almost didn't happen!

First, we lost our dear Rigo for this round, with a heavy heavy schedule up at the Oregon Cabaret theater. Not to worry, he'll be back on our next journey. In the meantime, Stephanie called on her adorable (and most favorite) niece Betty to help out, with spectacular results.

The bigger problem was that a Journey called Snow Day requires, well… SNOW! And they were hard pressed to find it. So Steph and Betty piled into a gorgeous 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness, and hit the mountains, and after some diligent searching (and a few cups of hot chocolate) our tenacious twosome found the snow they were looking for. A day like this brings memories that last a lifetime, and it wouldn't have happened without their Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness.

So enjoy the journey, then get out there and start making Subaru memories of your own. Let's go!

Part 2: The NON-PROFITS

The Southern Oregon Subaru JOURNEYS CAMPAIGN isn't just about the incredible beauty of this place we call home - it's also about the beauty and kindness of the people who live here: our neighbors, our coworkers, and our friends.

So we decided to take a journey to visit three non-profits who are making a real difference in the lives of both our two legged - and four legged - friends.

Granted, it was an easy journey, since these wonderful groups are right here in our backyard. Stephanie and Rigo rolled up their sleeves, hopped into a gorgeous 2025 Subaru Forester, and hit the road, using the Forester's mind-blowing cargo space to haul food, supplies, and a bunch of furry four-legged friends.

It was a great day, and left Steph and Rigo feeling the way we hope you'll be feeling after watching - encouraged to help these amazing charities however you can. Let's go!

Part 1: THE BRIDGES

Southern Oregon is home to so many iconic covered bridges. The challenge? Seeing all of them.

When a staff member made a comment about all of the beautiful, covered bridges scattered throughout Southern Oregon, we instantly knew it was the perfect concept to launch our new Journeys Campaign. But traveling to all five in a single day? Was it even possible?

And that's when Randy, our General Manager, decided to throw down: what if our hosts did it in an All Electric Solterra? Would they make it? Could they make it?

It was a big challenge: the covered bridges are scattered across two counties, with winding roads and no direct route to any of them. On the plus side, the Solterra has an incredible EPA-estimated 227-mile range.

Rigo and Stephanie were down to take the plunge. It was a long, fun, beautiful day with many twists and turns and stops along the way.

But the big question is: did they make it?
