At Southern Oregon Subaru, supporting our community goes beyond the showroom, and our participation in the Subaru Loves Pets® initiative is a perfect example of that commitment in action.

In 2025, Southern Oregon Subaru proudly partnered with the ASPCA® to support animals in need both locally and nationwide. Right here in our region, a $4,000 donation was directed to Josephine County Animal Shelter, helping provide care and support for 90 animals. These included dogs, cats, and “underdogs” — senior pets and animals with special needs who often require extra time, attention, and resources before finding their forever homes.

Those funds helped cover essential adoption preparation costs such as veterinary care, daily needs, and shelter support, directly improving each animal’s chance of being adopted. One particularly meaningful outcome was the adoption of Max, a dog who came to the shelter after losing his owner and facing serious health challenges. Thanks to the support provided through Subaru Loves Pets, Max received the care he needed and was ultimately adopted into a loving home where he is now thriving.

Josephine County Animal Shelter’s leadership shared that Subaru’s support extends beyond financial assistance. Through grants, events, and community awareness, Subaru helps shine a spotlight on adoptable pets and strengthens the shelter’s ability to connect animals with families.

On a national scale, Subaru’s partnership with the ASPCA resulted in more than $3.1 million in grant funding in 2025, supporting over 110,000 animals across the country. It’s a powerful reminder that when local actions combine with national initiatives, the impact can be extraordinary.

We’re grateful to our partners, our customers, and our community for making this work possible. Together, we’re helping more pets find safe, healthy, and loving homes — and that’s something we’re truly proud of.
