The fifth generation of the Subaru Forester appeared in 2019 and the 2021 version continues the tradition as a formidable, practical, and capable crossover SUV packed with features and roomier than any of its predecessors. Today’s Forester, though, has more standard equipment such as high beam assist, new rear seat belt reminder alert, and steering-responsive headlights.

Five trim levels are available on the 2021 Subaru Forester beginning with the Base model which is equipped with dual USB ports, power amenities, keyless remote entry, Subaru Starlink and the 6.5-inch infotainment system. Bluetooth®, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® connectivity, CD player and SiriusXM are also part of the package. For just a bit more, Grants Pass shoppers can have 17-inch alloy wheels and silver roof rails.

Next in line is the Forester Sport, including a list of standard equipment that starts with gloss black exterior trim and orange accents. You’ll also get 18-inch wheels, a rear roof spoiler, and orange stitching in the cabin. Safety features such as lane changing assist, blind-spot detection and rear-cross traffic alert are part of this trim level.
The standard equipment on the Forester Touring model includes 18-inch black aluminum wheels, an eight-inch infotainment display, dual-zone climate control, power tailgate, memory settings on the 10-way power driver set, eight-way power front passenger seat, and body-color side mirrors.
