At Community Works, every dollar makes a life-changing difference. Thanks to partners like Southern Oregon Subaru—a proud sponsor of our 2025 Million Dreams Gala—we stand beside survivors of domestic and sexual violence, trafficking, and stalking as they take courageous steps toward safety and healing. In 2024, we provided 30, 643 services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence sex trafficking and stalking in the Rogue Valley. Additionally, we answered over 12,000 crisis calls on our 24/7 HelpLine. We also opened Mary’s Haven, Southern Oregon’s first transitional living apartment community for survivors and their children, offering up to 24 months of housing with on-site advocacy so families can rebuild with dignity and support Together, we continue to shatter silence and stop violence through community education, survivor-centered events, and year-round advocacy—because love isn’t just a promise; it’s a plan for safety, hope, and lasting change.

On June 27th, Southern Oregon Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Asante Roque Cancer Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. It was an amazing delivery day filled with kindness and connection. Through Southern Oregon Subaru’s participation in these programs, it shows they care. Southern Oregon Subaru consistently shows up and shows out for their community, and that impact was felt on the delivery day. Asante Rogue Cancer Center was a joy to work with, and we were so happy they were the recipients of Southern Oregon Subaru donation this year. We are so grateful to work and live in a community that takes care of one another. Southern Oregon Subaru Supports Hearts With A Mission - Joshua S
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Medford, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Southern Oregon Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Southern Oregon Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/14/2025, Southern Oregon Subaru donated 120 shoes/socks to Hearts With A Mission. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Thank you, Southern Oregon Subaru for your incredibly generous support of our 4th Annual Mike Marshall Memorial Golf Tournament, held in honor of an amazing young man and business school graduate with a bright future, who tragically passed away from an accidental overdose. Your partnership helps us keep Mike’s legacy alive by helping Reclaiming Lives further our mission of providing hope and stability to members of our community struggling with addiction through comprehensive recovery planning and long-term, compassionate support in a safe, judgement-free environment. Each week we continue to serve more than 300 individuals seeking to reclaim their lives. as well as build trusting relationships with residents at the Jackson County Jail and county run Transition Center, providing consistent, familiar faces, and personal connections both before and after release to help navigation an extremely crucial time. Your support has a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the individual - it strengthens families, provides hope, and helps build a healthier, compassionate community for us all. Southern Oregon Subaru Drives Change Locally - Kellie B
For the past 17 years, Southern Oregon Subaru has been more than just a partner, they have been a driving force behind the ACCESS mission. In addition to annual donations and sponsorship of our key events, then know a thing or two about getting creative with their support! During the month of March (2025), our friends at Southern Oregon Subaru held a “Race to 200” promotion with a goal of not just selling cars but also driving out hunger in Jackson County. For every 5 cans of food a customer brought in, Southern Oregon Subaru proudly donated $25 to our regional Food Bank. The result was nothing short of inspiring: Southern Oregon Subaru and its customers donated 775 pounds of food and $1,424 for a grand total of 4,921 meals! “We’re super excited about how this all turned out,” said General Sales Manager Nick Knutson. “Look at all this food raised for ACCESS to get to those who need it most!” That’s not all though. Southern Oregon Subaru has featured us as one of three nonprofits they support in their local “Journey” commercial; they have a loaner vehicle that is wrapped in ACCESS branding; and through rogue Credit Union’s quarterly dealer promo, we are able to provide and additional 4,500 meals to our community. Partners in Compassion: Saving Thousands Together Since 2009 - Karen E
At SoHumane, we believe that every animal deserves a second chance—and thanks to our enduring partnership with Southern Oregon Subaru, thousands have received just that. Since 2009, our collaboration has grown through the Subaru Love Promise, making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and people in our community. In 2024 alone, SoHumane took in more than 200 stray animals, many of whom arrived in urgent need of medical treatment. Providing this level of care would be nearly impossible without the support of community-focused partners like Southern Oregon Subaru. Their commitment helps ensure that vulnerable animals receive the healing, safety, and compassion they deserve. One of the most impactful parts of this partnership is the annual Share the Love adoption event. Over the years, this event has placed 357 animals into loving homes and raised a remarkable $343,407 to support our life-saving work—including $39,100 in 2024 alone. Beyond the adoption floor, Southern Oregon Subaru helps us share our mission—promoting adoption, spay/neuter, and humane treatment—through their marketing and media outreach. Their dedication also extended to SoHumane’s signature fundraiser, A Toast for Tails, where they returned as Presenting Sponsor in 2024. The event raised more than $278,000 to support programs like the Saving Train, which rescues pets from overcrowded shelters facing euthanasia. Because of Southern Oregon Subaru and our compassionate community, more than 11,900 dogs and cats have been given a new beginning—and we look forward to saving even more lives together.
Celebrating Earth Day 2025 — The Subaru Way - Rocky R
Southern Oregon Subaru was proud to return to The Farm at SOU this Earth Day, sharing our commitment to a greener planet with thousands of joyful attendees. Despite the wet weather, our Digital Media Manager and Green Team Leader, Rocky Rawstern, and Delivery Specialist, Cole Hancock, showed up with big smiles, warm hearts, and hundreds of plants and shrubs to give away. Together, we celebrated sustainability, community, and the Subaru lifestyle—one that takes us deeper into nature and closer to each other. We made many new friends, heard incredible adventure stories from longtime Subaru owners and helped put a little more green into the world—one plant at a time. Because loving the Earth isn’t just what we do on EarthDay—it’s who we are, year round.
