Debt of gratitude - Keila A
I owe a great debt of gratitude to Eugene O'Brien and the entire Southern Oregon Subaru service team, including the managers who assisted me with an issue they did not create. My windshield required replacement due to a crack, and I initially used another local vendor recommended by my insurance company. Unfortunately, after two windshield replacements and three attempted recalibrations, my EyeSight system never functioned properly. The vendor's final recommendation was to take the vehicle to Subaru, leaving me caught in the middle between the two parties in an uncomfortable and frustrating situation. Recognizing my frustration, Subaru stepped in and, as a courtesy to me as a customer, took full ownership of the issue. They replaced the windshield, recalibrated the EyeSight system, and even provided a rental vehicle while the work was completed—something I had previously requested from the third-party vendor and was denied—all at no cost to me. While I understand this may be considered a "first-world" problem, Subaru handled the situation with exceptional professionalism, class, and genuine kindness. Unbeknownst to them during this time, one of my daughters had and was recovering from surgery during this stressful period. The care and efficiency with which Subaru resolved everything within days meant more to me than they could have known. Thank you again to Eugene and everyone at Southern Oregon Subaru for taking such good care of me.
Growing Native Plants for Pollinators and People - Kristina L
PPRV is proud to share our Love Promise Story alongside so many other amazing nonprofits that do what they do better with Southern Oregon Subaru's amazing support! With Southern Oregon Subaru as a partner, PPRV is growing more native plants for pollinators and people! Beginning in 2023 with our first part-time Nursery Manager, our native plant nursery has been able to increase both the number of plants grown and cared for, as well as the number of species, for the Southern Oregon community. Our Nursery Manager oversees our nursery operations, manages weekly volunteers ("Pollinteers"), and coordinates our plant sales and donations. With Southern Oregon Subaru's support, more native plants are growing in school yards and front yards, and more people are helping to save the pollinators - one plant, one garden at a time.
No Pet Left Behind - Pauline R
No Pet Left Behind would like to thank and show our gratitude to Southern Oregon Subaru, for their continued support for our annual "Putts for Pets" fundraiser. No Pet Left Behind is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization helping Pets in need in Southern Oregon. We believe that no pet should suffer simply because their people can't afford vet care for them. No Pet Left Behind pays for that vet care, through Southern Oregon Subaru's, caring and generosity, we have been able to facilitate hundreds of deserving pets in getting the vet care they need to live a happy, healthy life. Recently, we had a call from an elderly gentleman who was very worried and upset about his dog. She had been scratching incessantly and losing much of her hair. He explained that he needed to get her help, but his only income with Social Security and he could barely pay his rent. He lived alone with his pup, who was his best friend, he had no money to get her any help. No Pet Left Behind arranged and paid for two vet visits, happy to report with the treatment this puppy received, she is now doing great, and her dad is no longer worrying about how to get help for his beloved pup. Without Southern Oregon Subaru's generous support, pets like the one above would suffer without treatment. We at No Pet Left Behind are forever grateful for Southern Oregon Subaru. They are not only a car dealership, but they are also a compassionate and supportive part of our community. Thank you, Southern Oregon Subaru!

Helping us fulfill our mission - Rose G
The mission of the Jackson County Foster Parent Association is to support children and families experiencing foster care by providing essential resources, meaningful connections, and a strong sense of community. Our goal is to ensure that every child in care feels seen, supported, and valued—especially during moments that matter most, like the holiday season. This past Christmas, Southern Oregon Subaru played a powerful role in helping us fulfill that mission. Southern Oregon Subaru graciously hosted two JCFPA Angel Trees—one in their sales department and one in their service department—inviting both employees and customers to participate in supporting local foster youth. Thanks to the generosity of the Southern Oregon Subaru team and their community, more than 50 gifts were collected. These donations directly supported our annual Christmas program, which served over 200 children currently experiencing foster care in Jackson County. Each gift helped bring joy, dignity, and a sense of belonging to children who often face uncertainty and hardship. Southern Oregon Subaru's involvement went beyond donations—it demonstrated a true commitment to community care and compassion. By opening their doors, engaging their employees and customers, and championing the needs of foster youth, Southern Oregon Subaru helped ensure that many children experienced the magic of Christmas who otherwise may not have. We are deeply grateful for Southern Oregon Subaru's partnership and their continued commitment to showing love where it matters most.
