Subaru Remanufactured Brake Calipers

Most aftermarket rebuilt brake calipers may contain non-genuine components. Using or substituting anything other than genuine specified Subaru caliper components and approved Subaru remanufacturing processes can result in serious potential safety problems, such as brake fluid leakage, etc.

To ensure that reliable safety performance is in no way compromised, only the best original equipment Subaru cores are selected. Each core is thoroughly cleaned and completely remanufactured.

All worn parts are replaced with new OE parts as needed, including piston, bolts and bolt sleeves.

Core

Must have same casting marks as OEM drawings no damage of any kind and no imitations are accepted; special teardown equipment and tools are used on the casting to avoid any alteration.

Cleaning

Only glass bead shot is used to clean the caliper as it is more effective than steel bead cleaning and prevents any damage to internal seal grooves, cylinder bore, and threads.

Painting

Entire casting and mount are finished with enamel paint to prevent rust.

Assembly

Assembled in a dust-free room and thoroughly tested for a leakproof seal.

Testing

Each caliper assembly is pneumatically tested to meet stringent performance control standards required for Genuine Subaru Remanufactured Parts.

Piston Cleaned, polished and thoroughly inspected. Over 120% of the recommended amount of piston grease is applied during assembly to insure smooth operation and act as a secondary boot seal.

Metal Parts parts replaced with 100% new components including bolts and bleeder screw ring.

Rubber Parts All rubber parts replaced with 100% new Genuine Subaru parts, including piston seal and dust boot.
