- Determine the cause of the original failiure.
- Thoroughly high pressure wash and flush every surface and critical hydraulic passage.
- Replace all friction elements (clutches and bands), roller and sleeve bearings, gaskets, rubber/elastomeric parts.
- All Subaru transmission valve bodies are assembled within a fully enclosed, clean room with filtered air to minimize any form of contamination.

transmissions are evaluated using computer-controlled dynamometers that
simulate actual driving conditions.
Unlike most transmission remanufacturers and rebuilders, 100% of all Genuine Subaru remanufactured automatic transmissions are air-pressure leak tested, to assure complete sealing of transmission and all internal seals.
